Assembly, Set and Test Cell for Pressure Switches

This four station cell assembles, adjusts and tests pressure switches.

The core sub assembly is crimped together and leak tested at the proof test pressure. This is then crimped into a fully assembled switch and loaded into the setting fixture.

The switch point is adjusted automatically by a servo driven mechanism while the switch is exposed to the required pressure.

The performance of every switch is then checked for accuracy by automatically ramping the pressure up and down and measuring the pressure at which the contacts change over.

Switches with either NO or NC contacts can be adjusted for any required pressure up to 20 Bar and set to accurately switch on either a rising or falling pressure.
