This machine grinds material from the end of turbocharger impellers to bring them in to balance.

The operator loads and orientates the component. Closing the guard initiates a fully automatic cycle to grind to a pre set depth. The alloy steel being machined is extremely hard and wheel wear is appreciable, this machine automatically dresses the wheel and adjusts its datum after every machining cycle.
