This special purpose eight cylinder radial crimping machine assembles automotive air suspension struts.

Position feed back and full servo control keep all eight cylinders in synchronisation. This allows rapid crimping and accurate adjustment of the crimp diameter to compensate for the stack up of component tolerances and any variation in spring back.

Tooling is mounted on a servo driven vertical slide which provides automatic sleeve roll back and allows easy loading and un-loading of assemblies.
