This machine carries out a high pressure tests on cryogenic valves while immersed in a tank of water.

Valves are loaded and clamped firmly in position by a large toggle clamp mechanism. The fixture plate is then lowered to the test position. With the part immersed and the guard closed, the part is pressurised and checked by the operator for leaks with the valve in the open position. The operator then opens the guard and closes the valve before performing a second test to check for leak tight closure of the valve seat.
